Opening of the Joint Working Group on Higher Education, Research and Innovation between Indonesia and France.

The CNRS Representative Office in ASEAN participated to the 13th Joint Working Group on Higher Education, Research and Innovation between France and Indonesia, taking place in Surabaya in July 2nd to 4th. This event gathered universities, research organizations and representatives of ministries from both countries, in order to enhance the cooperation between Indonesian and French research and higher education. 

Dominique Baillargeat, director of the CNRS representative office in ASEAN, gave two presentations, one on the CNRS and its activities, and one on the methodology of CNRS partnerships, particularly the joint research laboratories system. France Lagroix also gave a presentation about the CNRS Institute for Earth Sciences and Astronomy and its activities in Indonesia.
